in
the neighborhood of
la
Castellana,
in
the north
of
the city.
Several schools have been closed for safety reasons. The operation responds to an alleged settling of accounts between rival gangs. The two warring groups would be formed by five to ten offenders and the reason for the conflict is the dispute over a drug sales point.
After the first shots recorded in the neighborhood, the Director of Public Security of Marseille has reached the place, accompanied by a police officer to direct the operation.
In order to protect the population and to cease firing, the director of Public Safety Marseille asked his chauffeur sounded the siren and approached the area of the shooting. Upon arrival, the gunmen have shot at his vehicle.Drug trafficking in Marseille moves around 100,000 euros per month. This event was recorded shortly before the French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, visit the city.
This
new have been so important because all the people thought that was a
terrorist attack related with the one a month before. Fortunally,
that was only a believe.
